Hadhreen UK is proud to support epidemic response efforts led by its sister organisation in Sudan. A disease vector control spraying campaign was recently carried out in Arbagi, Al Jazirah State, with generous support from the Sudanese British Primary Care Association (SBPCA). In parallel, spraying supplies were distributed to several neighbourhoods in Omdurman, Khartoum State, through volunteers from Al Nao Hospital, with support from both the SBPCA and the “Gam Bil Dholam” group. The total cost of these two interventions — in Arbagi and Omdurman — approached 8 million Sudanese pounds. An urgent response is also being planned for returnee camps in Blue Nile State to help contain the spread of the cholera outbreak. We sincerely thank all our donors and partners for their continued support and solidarity.
